New Balance is near perfect fit for feet that stomped concrete for too many years. Offers great protection from ankle injury if one of those unexpected uneven surface’s is not noticed. I purchased this style to replace NB 804, in 2000. With limited minutes standing and walking for this retired door to door salesman, means about ten years of useful shoe life. I am confident that MR1225 tread will give needed traction on a wet surface, and there is no pressure on heels and ball of feet from design of the tread. I did not have to purchase inserts for improved fit.

This shoe provides great stability control and nothing beats the foot support. The price may be a bit higher than others , but, I think they’re worth every penny. Plus New Balance shoes are made in the US so that is a plus!

Because New Balance offers a complete range of widths, no longer does a person with narrow feet have to purchase shoes and accept the standard sales pitch/response “These shoes run narrow”. I have a “B” width, a narrow heel, low volume, weak ankles (trashed ankle ligaments), and a very low arch. The 1123 is the third NB model shoe I have used (continuously) in about 20 years and each model has always been a performance improvement over the old one. You probably won’t find New Balance shoes in narrow sizes on the bargain sales rack but if you are willing to pay for outstanding quality, you will be satisfied. Another thing, a few years ago, I experienced a heel liner wear problem (shredded). I sent the shoes to NB and they treated me respectfully and fairly by supplying a replacement pair in the next generation Model. Great Customer Support!
New Balance 1063 Review
The New Balance MR1096 is a cushioned/neutral shoe that offers the ultimate cushioned ride from heel to toe. Cushioned/neutral shoes are for those that have high or normal arches. Offers Abzorb, a blend of compression and cushioning for shock absorbing. They are very lightweight and comfortable and have a lot of room in the toe area. Plenty of cushion in the heel and fit nice and snug.
They have DTS cushioning system in the heel to provide a smoother and softer heel strike. Another great feature is FL midsole foam technology that is the best you can get and 24% lighter than standard midsole foam. The New Balance MR1063 is a premium neutral-cushioning shoe.

These shoes are able to handle long runs and protect the joints but don’t have the extra medial support that efficient runners don’t need. A great shoe for any occasion, with very good cushioning throughout. These are good looking shoes at a great price.

For a perfect good looking and casual sneaker that is comfortable and durable the classic New Balance 993 cannot be beat. They are comfortable, lightweight yet rugged but still a very good looking shoe. There is a very nice cushion at the heel and a lot of toe room. Soft but not spongy, the midsole cushioning feels nicely firm and your feet are well supported on each step.

I was elated to learn that new balance had again upgraded to 993s which includes a combination of foam and gel and are lighter than the 992s. The 993s are Made in the USA and in the back of each of these shoes you can see the prominent USA in bold against an American flag. I don’t run many marathons anymore (but I have in the past) and I do love these shoes and once every couple of years when my old pair of 993s get relegated to the home repair shoe, I will go out and buy a shiny new pair of 993. Overall, I am extremely happy with this product.
